9.64@143+ n/a c5 manual

My new 388ci all bore motor just got done and on the first pass ran a 9.6.

388ci
tfs 245 heads
ITB manifold
ARH
Jesel rockers
custom roller cam
Ms 109 fuel
12.3-12.4 AFR
596rwhp
495rwtq MUSTANG dyno

This motor is the bomb !!! Awesome Rob !

This motor is reving over 8k. He was shifting at 7400 because of a fueling problem. By the way...first pass was also a 1.39 sixty foot ! Better times soon.

Here is the motor pic. The motor specs are in the first post. It is a destroked LS7 block. I don't have any shots of the car, however it was the feature car in the GM High - T mag about 2-3 months ago. The article was about his old 346 motor running a 9.98 ET

That was a phenominal story. I was impressed to see a stock bottom end go 9s.

I agree.
He earned it, tenth by tenth till he got what he was after ! I don't think he will be happy till he hits 8.99 with this new 388 motor.
