Well for 900-1000hp NA I'd say that's pretty dang good. And they said it was going to have 1200hp so the NA engine is close.

Umm from what I read on the other site it made 1400 before the Dyno gave had a problem.
That motor has never been on a Dyno as far as I know, so it's all speculation. I'd bt 830-920 (1.9-2.1 hp/cid) is more realistic.
~1400 - ~900 = ~500 HP
That's a lot of HP.

Re: This is the ANTI-HARDCORELS1 buildup!
Hey guy's. I am new here to the site. I seen this thread linked to another site and figured I would give some insight on this build from what I know. The company doing the build (APF) is a new company, only about 2.5 years in the making. They are a great bunch of guy's that do good work. But you can only learn from experience. The more they build ,the more they will learn. They built my first TT camaro and I was very pleased with the work they did. I made the cover of a magazine and also kicked ass on the street with it.I know a shops work is there reputation, so i thought I would give a little insight on APF, since they are new shop. Matt(Gorillavette) is a great guy as well, just trying to defend his car, like anybody else would do.Gary Grimes I don't know much about, but I do know they do all of APF's motors and they all have made good power and are all still on the road today. And Trevor(BADSS), well, he is just a 18 year old in the learning stage's.Here is a link to my TT camaro that APF built for me. This was a street race with the 6 speed and then swapped in a PG and ran a best of 9.06@158mph @3640lbs at the track.

Here is another car APF built as well. It is C6Z with twin 76's on a 400ci C5R motor. Sorry for the big pic. I can't seem to re-size it to make it smaller.

Chris......Your pissin in the wind over here....but thanks for the comments.
I swore I wouldn't waste any more time with some of these experts but I do appreciate your comments. I have even asked a few of them to comment on my build pages over at LS1tech but seems they don't feel comfortable over there. I now understand at least one of them has been banned from that site. Keep your head down....................

If I had to build a motor....I would take these guys advice over Techs any day of the week. On this site, you at least have guys with some experience telling you your information vs some internet guru.

I agree with that! How about one of them winning the engine masters challenge, or look at the red camaro. Street car that will probably out run that vette at the track. If you are happy with all that power then so be it. but when it comes to racing you are not on the power curve.
I hope you put a good diff in that car. Mine held up for me just fine, it was a DTE stage 4. You will need their stage 5. On that note. You are taking about how some of these parts are out of your price range. If that is true then you are for a world of hurt cause the drive train in that vette will only handle so much, and you can only make it so strong. Good luck though. When its built why not bring it up here and run the red camaro that was built by one of the "Experts".........and I know the answer will be no cause you will be scared to lose......its ok though:*******[2

Re: This is the ANTI-HARDCORELS1 buildup!
So what you want to get flack on this build on another site???? I'll tell you I don't have the TIME to waste on websites like that.... the FACT that you judge a site by the number of members just PROVES that your car is a EGO build so you can say "LOOK AT ME"....
The stuff I get to work on where I CAN'T show to other people that would blow your mind, remember there are a lot of guys who do this for THEMSELVES, not because they were the kid who got picked on in school and want to show off.
For being 61 you sure do act like a 15 year old kid with a chip on his shoulder.
