Wink We even do LT4 packages!

Hey guys...

It's non-LS1 but one of my PA customers is just starting to get his project rolling and was so excited, he's been driving it around with stock gears and in the snow! Figured I'd share some of his excitement...

Hey Ed,

It's been a long time coming, probably about 1.5 years now but I finally got my car running and on the road. I have nearly 100 miles on it and I can not be more pleased with how it drives. between your cam and madz28's tuning the car drives great! I was surprised when the converter locked at 1500 rpm in OD and it didn't buck, surge, or generally not cooperate at all! my old 383 with a 242/248 drove like ass until I exceeded 2000 rpm when the stall was locked. I haven't driven it hard, I had one trip up to nearly 6000 rpm and 3/4 throttle and I still have the smile on my face. car pulls really hard even at part throttle and is very very snappy. throttle response is fantastic. I'm just so impressed. The only thing that makes me mad are the snowy/icy conditions here in eastern PA. I cant wait to optimize the setup more. I am still running a stock LT1 airbox, waiting for some funds to get a ram air hood and switch to an LS1 lid style setup and I am about to go junkyard shopping to find a 4 cyl S10 with 4.10 gears. no use in spending a lot on the 10 bolt with new gears. these 2.73s make my 4L60E seem like a powerglide. if I recall correctly when I figured out rpm vs mph plots I can do 60 mph in first and 120 in 2nd. I need 4.10s bad ha ha.

Thank you Ed very much for the cam and all the help.

by the way, here is a quick video of the initial start up, some idle clip, some revs and its first burnout ha ha

car sounds awesome! I love it.

-Pete

Car sounds good, we just finished a LT1 package yesterday (thanks Ed H on the tuning help). That guy should really like his car when he gets the 2.73's out of it.
