Some flow results and pics here.

One of the few times that the intake caused the head to back up earlier that I have seen. But then again, I haven't seen much:hammer:

Not really a surprise there. the l76 intake works fairly well actually just have to keep in mind the application.the ls6 only goes 280 on the bench vs the fast at 300 and I have no problem getting gobs of power out of those ls6 intakes to date the fast intakes haven't been working that good for me. May try porting one and working the runner to see if i can get it to work ???. Sometimes raw flow doesn't tell the whole story but it helps get a very good idea of where things are going.

It's odd but the bench numbers I have seen of car intakes vs. truck intakes on LS heads is opposite to what Richard has seen. Don't know why that is.

The truck intake can flow more if you match the head and the intake.

Hows the runner length compare to say a ls6 ls1 ?

Around the same, the port taper and shape is just different.

As for the truck manifolds being off compared to the car manifolds not the case from this data.... This is all cathedral port stuff with the 90mm truck intake.

Lift - Base - Truck - LS6

.300 - 194 - 188 - 185
.400 - 256 - 232 - 227
.500 - 298 - 261 - 253
.550 - 307 - 270 - 261
.600 - 313 - 277 - 265

Thas actually better then I thought it would be. So the truck intake looks like the ticket huh ?

Depends on your heads I would think, there is oppossing data on this, like you and the FAST. I know applications which it works VERY well for and some guys do better with a car intake.

I'd bet that those intakes are just as cam sensitive as the ls6 and the Fast can be.

Yeah there are no hard fast guarentess in this bussiness huh.
