Been wanting to expand the collection here lately of fine American automobiles, and the SS Camaro has really got my nose wide open.
I am talking LS based Camaros here, not one of them "I have one to" 67-69's you see every where.
So with that said, what is the best year of SS Camaro to get? I might even get it with an auto in it also, that is a huge might, but the sun shines on a dog's butt every once in a while.

I believe the 2002 is about the best but.... I own a GTO!

01-02's are pretty much identical, so whichever you can find in the best shape. If you plan on ripping absolutely everything out of the car, then go with the cheapest year you can get. But if it's going to stay somewhat stock, then the 01-02's have better intakes, clutches, injectors, and have no EGR.

No I will not rip the car apart. It will be just like my 90 LX just hopefully more powerful. Some very good folks i know have told me, if I get this beast they will help me in any way possible, and their word is gold to me.
Also I am new to this LS stuff, but it is obvious they make power, and maybe I am jilted(sp) in a way but the 98-02 SS Camaros just look bad ass to me especially with those ZR-1 rims on them. Damn salesman from a few years ago gave me a hard time when I wanted to buy one brand new.
