Mike's problems with vendor

what about when you do spend $$$ on a shop or a cam dealer that works with that shop and you get substandard work???
for example....(all hypothetical)....
installing a cam without degreeing it??installed w/ 4* retard off the recommended CL??
an entry level lean tune b/c i brought my own modified heads instead of buying from this shops preferred supplier??(hypothetically)
instead of using new gaskets supplied with LT headers,reusing existing header gaskets and hardware??(now leaking)
charging for a new collector(new was supplied w/LT headers) gasket but reusing OEM and smearing with RTV??
Smearing front cover w/RTV b/c it was torn a little in the corner ??
no dyno printout or printout of fuel and timing maps??(just for example)

Sounds like you went to a shitty shop Mike...btw, I'm looking for a shop in my area that will actually go through the process of degreeing the cam and not just lining it up dot to dot.

Sounds like it was done at the local service station. You've got a couple great shops within a couple hour drive. WILLYFASTZ is in NC (somewhere) and Ed Hutchings is in Portsmouth, VA.

This is Hardcore Mike so like Ed says, if it's real first hand stuff it's ok to name the shop or vender to help everyone else.
