Why not limit the turbo to high 80s or low 90s in the Drag Radial class? Why do these LSX guys need 100+ sized turbos to run three tenths slower than the Fords with smaller units?

lol, I've thought that same thing.
They really need to. When a heavy hitter builds a car, they are going to clean house. Remember Job Jr...lol. No rules and he ruled them all.

Maybe at least shrink it until you could theoretically fit one in the engine bay without tearing out the AC and accessories...

This is a serious question. Why do the Ford guys run so much faster than the LSX guys in this class and a few others. Is it the R&D for the LSX stuff is just behind the Fords, or is the Ford stuff just better for that application?

The Ford guys have ten more years of rules restricted, heads up drag racing under their belt. The LSx guys were mostly lost in the cyber-world of dyno racing (blame L$1Toke for that) or just running a couple of hits at a local event.
I have faith in "racers" in general and the *serious* LSx racers, those willing to work hard and are not internet warriors, WILL succeed and run well. No matter what the rules are...
Then again... I'm biased...:biggrinbo
